Re: Student Recital
Dear ononyoyo,
Thank you for your cheer up.
The coming one is my 5th student concert.
We are human and should confess that everyone has his/her own individuality. We can't find each piece of our work or every word unanimous. But I am trying to do my best, though not THE best. At least, I am seeking every opportunity to expose my student so that they feel confident in public performance.
... Just because I was one of the victims of my old piano teachers, the so-called MASTERs.
As you know, some students are more self-awared. What they really need is thousands of exposure so that they become more accustomed to.
To be frank, I am serious in preparation of music festival. Somehow the result reflects the effort of our team (student and me). I don't usually hold one before exams as others may do.
At this stage, I am open to parents' enquiries. Communications make my idea more clear and effective. Interviews with any prospect student help both parties select the right one.
HAHA, I dare not say anything about copyright. (As you know there are many requests about copies in bk)
I do ask my students to buy music together with my membership card so that it maximizes the discount. But their performance from memory as a usual excuse of not purchasing music would raise my laughter...
Since I've been here, I am learning more and more different thoughts, attitudes, concepts, courtesy and, unexpectedly, conduct.
Cheers,
