Re: 真 道 書 院 兩 個 學 生 一 張 椅
Dear all
I am not sure whether the curriculum of Logos is good or not but I am sure that I don't like the principal especially after attending the P1 introductory talk.
What I feel that the principal is only a super-saleman but not a person who dedidates in education. He is just trying to expand his empire by recruiting as many students as possible. The principal said that he is going to open 10 P1 classes this year. I think Logos is still a very young school, it should firstly focus on improving the quality of education continuously rather than expanding in such a rapid way. Besides, Logos should be a Christian school but I don't feel anything related to our believes in god during the introduction of the school and its curriculum except that the principal did mention the school organizer is the Chinese Union Church of ...
This year's 1st interview was even terrible. Not to say the poor arrangment especially on 17/9 ( I don't want to give the details), the point that I dislike most was the attitude and the rude way of speaking of one of the staff who was responsible for the on-site arrangement at the assembly place before letting the kids into the interview rooms. My kid was frightened by his loud voice and rude way of speaking (i.e. he was not speaking to me nor my kid) when he observed the arrangement and he strongly against the school. I also agreed with my kid's feeling and decided not the attend the interview and left the school immediately.
Later, during a gathering with the parents of some of my kids' classmates talking about the interview at Logos (not the same time but at the same day), they had similar feelings. Although they had continued the interview but some of them said that they would not consider Logos anymore even if their kids were accepted.
Anyway, different people may have different perceptions and I just would like to share some of my feelings and experience.
