美國大學讀多一年整體來說時間會多些，學生可以按自己的進度選擇科目，有人Year 1已經決定咗major, 所以可以早些讀相關科目。亦都有些人去到Year 2先決定Major. 見有些學生可能會因為有其他課外活動，research 或攪startup 那年會選修很少學分。之後再追回或遲些畢業。

我覺得美國第一年聽聞學general 的野，吾夠英國的專。

聽聞有的好學校也緊張，但總感覺應唔夠英國的程度

agreed need to prepare for the worse, like drop out rate, exam re-sit rate, repeat year of study... All students surrounding you are so smart. Asians work extremely hard, some Singaporeans/Malaysians got gov't funding so they perform to their very best for the funding criteria. Library 7x24 always full. Female students may struggle (especially you find yourself may no longer the top tier like you did in high school) vs male students learning pace and performance. So, it is intensive and competitive. The process is stressful, but you will definitely feel proud of yourself if you graduate from the college at Royal Albert Hall South Ken in the end. Good Luck.
