Thank you very much for your information. My son is given the double degree ... Not definitely, but they surely will look at the student's overall result before admitting them to 2nd degree. So my advise is to consider this course merely an entry into a undergraduate degree of science, plus a better opportunity into their post-graduate of Dental degree, but not a straight through 7 years with 2 degrees, when compare this with your son's other offers. Additional requirementsMost students enrolled in this double degree who have met all the requirements of their bachelor's degree will be permitted to begin the DMD without being required to sit an admissions test such as the Graduate Australian Medical School Admissions Test (GAMSAT) or the Undergraduate Medicine and Health Sciences Admission Test (UMAT), or participate in the assessment selection process for entry into the Doctor of Dental Medicine. Prior to commencing the Doctor of Dental Medicine, students are required to comply with requirements for entering NSW Health facilities.
