點解Guardian同Complete University Guide比Loughborough既 Ranking 咁高而QS、THE等等機構比既weighting 又咁低? 邊間機構的排名比較準確D呢 ?

英國本土排名好多時同國際排名差好遠, 國際排名著重研究、名氣、國際化等多啲。

跟根據網友 Arabellahk 的 post :-

現在已有國家或地區政府機構開始認可這些知名的大學排名機構，幷用於執行某些政策。如英國政府內政部在今年5月30日宣佈，啟動高潛力人才簽證，在過去5年內在世界前50名大學畢業，畢業那年所就讀的大學，必須在三個高校排名榜（泰晤士，QS，ARWU）的任何兩個中名列前50名。畢業生毋須持有英國國民海外護照，以及不必事先獲英國僱主聘請的條件，可申請工作簽證。上海在今年6月宣佈，畢業於世界高校排名榜（泰晤士，US NEWS,QS,ARWU）前50名院校的留學人員全職在上海工作，可直接落戶上海。
似乎連英國政府都係睇緊國際排名機構(如QS, Times. ARWU, US NEWS)的排名.
