家父自幼教我中文作文重要在遣詞用字，等於名詞，語句是兵，要有將軍的視野來調兵遣將！

我跟你都係特殊例子吧！

以前在理工讀工程，在學生會蒲嘅時候，很多人以為我讀商科。

自己是理強，數較弱，語文中上吧。所以碩士博士學位都係工商管理。

喜歡數理工程嘅有可能喜歡實在的事情及答案，客觀性較明顯，語文或者文科較主觀感受，一下天堂，一下地獄。用數理邏輯思維放在管理上係明顯有優勢，語文不是太爛之話，應該係綽綽有餘！

自己個人好喜歡一個自我分析工具 Team Roles，我係典型嘅百彈齋主，只要將找缺點思維的心態改為正面思考，就可以有創意解難，又不用做鬼見愁！

What is the most popular degree US presidents have? Law. What are the most common degree U.K. prime ministers have? Humanities subjects. I used to say to my girl, scientists make wonderful things. Humanities people decide when and how to use them.

Regarding TOK/EE, it depends on whether you strive for 3 extra bonus points vs 2. 2 is a piece of cake

For IA, it accounts for small % of the overall score. The exam still makes up a big proportion. These IA , TOK/EE are indeed helpful to train up their writing skills and presentation skills, which is a very important skillset no matter you are a banker, a business consultant or a scientist. My child is able to do a 100 people business presentation at his young age in a real commercial setting. The training from IB was indeed helpful in getting them up to speed.

Another important aspect of EE and IA is to train up children’s problem solving skills. In the commercial world, people talk about blue ocean and red ocean strategies. I can associate that to what my children were doing in their EE and IA topics. You can set your boundaries or even no boundaries in the topics you explore, try to be scientific through the exploration, be able to conduct scenarios analyses and then articulate. That skillset is necessary in your entire working journey and even your life….

非常之同意，IB課程給予同學一個較全面的培養。女兒今年考完IB後，在一間公司做summer internship, 初時主要幫公司的產品做market research 然後寫報告。之後manager 比佢一齊參與和其他公司合作的project. 佢對外的title係strategy associate, 完全冇提她只是summer intern. 當中聽她提到工作上的presentation, 对外meeting, project discussion 和price, project negotiation都處理得唔錯.
我相信IB的課程有一定的關係。
