My cousin has just finished F.5. The result is quite good --- 4B 2C . However, he would like to be a violin teacher as his job. He has already passed Grade 8 and diploma examination.

In fact his parent would like him to study F. 6 and then University.

His father is very worry about the income of a violin teacher is too little and fluctuate. When his son grow up and get married and have his own child, he may be suffer.

Do you know what will be the income of full time violin teacher ?
Any comment ?

Qualification is the most important thing now,F.5, too slow!!even he has passed in grade 8 and diploma exams, he will earn much more if he get a degree in music!!

Dear 茵茵,

Thanks a lot for your valuable advice.

I will tell my cousin accordingly. Anyway, I know he is really interest in music, I will encourage him to study music in U. Just for information, what will be the income for a violin teacher with a music degree ? His father want him to be an Engineer or Accountant. The career seems more foreseeable.

F.5 qualification is too low. Nobody will feel interested when people can select some teacher with a U. degree.

Think about it carefully if choosing it as a career.

I suggest he can continue study F6 and try to teaching volin in some music center, if they employ you. I have a friend who teaches piano in 柏斯 when she is F6.
