我對個女間學校絕對有信心
因佢地課程都幾深
每星期中英做溫習紙(即小測)各一次
每個月中英數常識評估一天
每個學期全科評估一星期

我對我個女都有信心,雖然佢係細女, 佢都幾成熟,
不過這都是學校訓練有數.
因為佢平時放學吃完午飯, 便會用半小時先做完佢當天3本的功課才午睡
星期五8頁工作紙也是照常先完成才午睡
而成績方面全部都是'A', 課外活動也取得很多獎狀及獎杯.

由於佢受我感染, 因此每當我帶佢經過學校時, 佢就問我幾時可以入去參觀, 我叫佢比心機讀書, 比心機羅獎, 天上的小天使, 會知你努力的.

當我帶佢入去註冊, 佢興奮的心情, 一直都不捨得走, 一陣又要說留下來幫老師收文件,又要走遍成間學校, 又說要去洗手間, 又說有點肚餓, 要去小賣部買零食,我同佢講這就是你努力的成果, 尤其佢好比心機聽聖經故事, 因此比賽中得到亞軍, 我同佢講是你感動了天父, 天父賜給你的.

雖然今次是幸運的派入去, 但我相信如果自已是有實力, 都是可以叩門, 就算是小一沒有位, 相信不是每個家長都認為此校適合自已小朋友, 中途退學,那麼小二, 小三一定是有機會的.

(There's no point in filling other schools in 2nd and 3rd places in 甲部 because all schools listed are popular, and each school offer less than 10 places for 甲部 "lucky draw")

我個女只有大女分, 因此1 st round 沒有可能
因此是2 nd round 抽中的

其實如果你可有宗教分1 st round抽不入, 你再考慮搬屋都未遲, 就算你在2 nd round 選了學校, 你在1個月內都決定要搬, 你再向教育署申請你已搬了屋要重新搬你自已果區的學校都可以.

另外也可以叫你住果區的朋友做你個女監護人, 監護人只需要同你一齊上民政署跟你一同宣誓, 很簡單跟住你個女以後的round 1 and round 2 都是佢負責要親自去.

有2個朋友都這樣做, 一個是派了聖家, 一個是派了華德

但如果係我為了表示誠意, 我會搬屋,也放便小孩上學

因協恩是沒有位可以倪, 有餘下的位全部都會交回教育署再派位, 我見有d 小朋友好outstanding, 好多獎杯獎狀,彈琴又有2級, 在協恩幼稚園考第1都倪不入, 後來因為佢的誠意, 同
埋佢keep 住d 成績, 年年都倪, 終於小三可以插班入了

如果你又 like maryknoll 多d
1. maryknoll
2. st mary's
3. 天神

如果你又like 協恩多d, 又鐘意maryknoll
1. 協恩
2. maryknoll
3. st mary's

不過我自已甲部只有填st mary's 其他都沒有興趣

Me too. My girl is luckily admitted by SMCC this year through central allocation. ( I hv put only SMCC in 1st round (甲部) and SMCC as 1st choice in second round)

Thanks a lot for your useful info. Pls share more your valuable choosing school techniques. I agreed that 31 is not too much school except st mary. Just like buy "mark six".

I belong to 31 network. The two 油天s are my 2nd and 3rd choices in part B, and 循道 (am and pm) are my 4th and 5 choices. If this time my girl cannot admit into St Mary (1st choice), I think probably she cannot even be admitted by 循道 (am and pm) since they have very few places.

If I am to choose again, I will place 循道(am and pm) as my 2nd and 3rd choice, since I believe the chance is very slim for getting into both 油天 if put them in 2nd/3rd places. But I read from newspaper earlier this year that 循道 secondary originally planned to 結龍 with their primary section but their school authorities postponed the plan because they fear that secondary school students from their affliated primary section cannot attain the required english level to maintain their english teaching secondary school status. (must have at least 85% of newly promoted secondary school students attain the english level)

By the way, I think the prospects of studying in 31 network is a bit better for boys than girls (since DGS is not a/v for central allocation), and for 油天 quite a no. of graduated girls go to Truelight secondary college ( not bad, but not as good as St. Mary in my opinion) whereas a no. of graduated boys can be admitted by renown secondary colleges such as 華仁 and 皇仁.

As someone graduated from 基道 has told me, 基道 (pm) is better than (am) section but the former has now changed to a fulltime 一條龍學校 in the 36 network. (As I recall there is only 4 一條龍學校 in Kowloon side at present).

I rank 基道 just after 循道 but I intended to let my daughter study in St. Mary, 油天, or 循道 only ( Frankly speaking, I would let her study in private primary schools such as Good Hope(on waiting list), APS(on waiting list) or Truelight(accepted) instead if any of above choices of central allocation cannot be fulfilled.)

FYI my daughter is currently studying at funful kindergarten. :wink:
