Re: 聖保祿 VS 德望
i think both good hope and SPC are good and about the same standard, but if you really have to compare, then SPC maybe little bit better in academic field whereas good hope is stronger in extra-curricular activities.
i live on kowloon side, and to be honest with you, i never heard of SPC (ok i always got mixed up with which is st pauls convent and st pauls catholic) until university years. During our time as secondary school students, St Paul's co-ed, St Josephs and St stephen girls are most famous on HK side, and we on kowloon side had more interschool activities with these schools, together with those from kowloon side ie La Salle, DGS, Maryknoll, DBS, Good Hope, Heep Yunn, St Mary. (but i admit that Good Hope and Heep Yunn are weaker in academic compared to the rest but v strong in ECA. For St Mary, the name is there, but too conversative and seldom see them joining ECA, but academically better than Good HOpe and Heep Yunn)
For schools with more or less the same standard, i think really depends much on where you live.
Just some opinion & what we see from a kowloon sider's point of view. |
