I cannot say the curriculum is too easy or not, I've no experience with other IS, I think it's up to standard. We are purely HK family, we speak Cantonese at home, but for sure my son's English is not bad, he always obtain full marks in his spelling tests, he can communicate with teachers and classmates in English fluently. All his class teachers are foreigners, and classmates are Chinese, Indian, Japanese, Korean, British etc. He's confident to speak in English with others. Extra training or effort at home is not required. Maybe it's due to Think students read many story books, my son read Oxford Reading tree in the past few years, he required to read story book everyday, no. of pages is not limit, he can read few pages or 10+ pages as he like. Once he finished reading the book and wrote a few sentences about the story, then he could exchange another book and so on. He'd read all books of Oxford reading tree already and now he reads other books with longer stories and wordings less simple. Also, each class has library time every week, students can borrow whatever books they like and return the following week. My son loves to borrow scientific books.
I think my son is born to be good in Maths, I was told by his teaches that he has good mathematics concept since he was in UN, this subject doesn't worry me too. What worries me is his Chinese, accordingly to my knowledge, Think classfied students into 3 levels: 1. CSL (Chinese as Second Language) 2. Cantonese speakers 3. Putonghua speakers. Think teaches Chinese in Putonghua, my son is classified in PTH catagory, though his teachers always say his Chinese is good, I don't think so. I guess he's just K3 level in Chinese. I've to put much effort to teach him Chinese at home, I read Chinese story book with him every night, when eating outside, I let him read the menu himself and make his own choice, perhaps, with my assistance.
Regarding the teaching qualities... hmm... what I can say is: I'm satisfy. My kids never study in other IS, my daughter is now studying in Think Kindy, we are fans of Think! Be fair, you judge their qualities yourself.
My daughter is from MF Think. She did attend for the interview in Jan and was given an offer. I heard Think kinder students would be given a priority for primary admission.
