From what i heard, probably one of the best ESF Kindergarten in town. (The hardest to get into as well due to shear volume of applications.) A teacher who taught there told me how detailed they are in monitoring each child's progress at Hillside (compared to another one my son went to). All ESF schools believes in the child's self regulations so they are not big on teacher driven discipline. There are several primary schools on the HK island but only one kindergarten, so you can do the math in terms of chance of success in get an interview with ESF kindie priority. Of course you need to live in the right catchment area to apply to QBS, and even with priority over other non-ESF applicants, the child still need to pass the interview. For ESF primary the key is mainly just spoken English though, nothing rocket science to it. |
