真替你高興, 你有兩個咁好學的仔仔, 可能正因為你沒有給佢地壓力, 所以佢地學得好好.  

如果我無理解錯誤的話, 你個細仔係5歲開始學小提琴先, 大仔自學及由你教導, 至到上月尾,大仔開始學鋼琴, 又到細仔自學, 對嗎?

My son uses to sit down and learn/practice violin instead of standing.  Is this OK as long as his back is straight and no "Q 腳"?

I have 脊柱側彎 since 10-11 years old, from my 10+ years of hospital visits experience and what I understand from the doctors, the cause of 脊柱側彎 is genetic, and most of the cases are 隔代遺傳的.  So, I think it is not related to practicing violin.

早前, 有個物理治療師幫我個女check過, 佢話我個女脊骨有輕微左彎, 叫我要留意小朋友的坐姿等,  如果這樣, 都唔知好唔好比囡囡學小提琴好?

但著名小提琴家馬友友，都是有脊柱側彎，還很嚴重，超過40-50度，已做了(大)手術。
好掛住我家的龜龜，感謝Martin媽咪收養，希望牠們可以開開心心生活。永遠懷念「咬人」、「明仔」、「細龜」及「BB」！ 21-6-06

脊柱側彎一般是向右邊(胸段)，(左邊)腰段。有例外要小心。

一般脊彎是特發性(好似佔80%)，令一種是姿勢性。

Dear All,

The major cause of scoliosis is "idiopathic" (around 80 %), the rest of the causes might related to muscle problem, hereditary....It does not related to daily posture although posture should be kept well no matter u have any problems or not. Most of the cases are discovered when kids reaches the puberty coz they have growth spurt at that time. Although minority of cases need to perform spinal surgery, most of them only require bracing until they have finished their growth spurt. In fact, scoliosis is more common in thin tall girl. In HK, the student health service has spinal screening for student and it is definitely worth to go.
