初班的遴選有什麼標準？
初班入學測試分為聽音測試及面試兩部份。首部份的聽音測試為一項簡單的音高及節奏測試，面試主要評估申請人的生理條件，如手掌大小、伸展度、協調等是否適合其選報樂器，如報讀中國及西洋之吹管樂器，申請人的牙齒和嘴型亦會包括在考慮之列。
