我仔都係小二從local 去 IS, 讀咗半年度，始終講英文語境唔多，只係喺學校，屋企同姐姐。但學校都有好多local，所以同佢哋都係講返廣東話。班主任係外籍人士，佢話我仔用英文溝通上無乜問題，不過我覺佢用英文嚟表達唔好。同埋佢唔鐘意睇書，老師要佢睇多啲，話佢reading唔好，所以我嚟緊請外籍人士補習，希望等佢講多啲。不過我覺得讀IS後再轉回local，小朋友會好辛苦。你讀咗IS之後，你會深深体會到的。我覺local小朋友好辛苦，為考試而讀書，不是為讀書而讀書的，香港教育好失敗。我細仔將會讀local小一，我都係等佢辛苦兩，三年先，不過我唔會好像某啲家長，不斷補習，日日夜夜補，我唔想佢哋有太大壓力，好怕有精神病，到時候後悔莫及，我想等佢自己試下，喺開心無壓力下學習成長。唔得再考慮上埋IS。

如果你的小朋友讀的IS, 在校內多locals 所以同學們用廣東話溝通, 你要review 間IS啦, 因為in general, including the IS my daughter is studying, 即使好多locals with cantonese mother tongue (over 80%), 同學們的日常溝通都是英文的. 另外IS 好注重閱讀, 閱讀風氣是非常好的, 絕大部份IS students are eager to read anytime, 你小朋友感染不了閱讀氣氛有些奇怪

Oh, my god.  You all spend a fortune in English tutoring.

Please try to let your children to join kind of music, arts and sports courses at international schools such as GSIS,  FIS, and others  after school and sport camps in long holidays.  They would be mixing up with foreigner kids and international schools kids well and pick up English conversation easily.

The activities are not expensive at all.  For saving time you may need to consider to drive kids there or taking taxi as fast transportation.

Good luck!

All kids can learn good and quick.  Don't waste time and money.

When you see your kids happy to learn, eager to learn, love to learn.  All efforts are worth.  NO NEED  to turn back.

我其實都係試咗四年, 到依家先決定轉。依四年拉鋸得好辛苦, 小朋友都好吃力及感到有壓力! 希望lS取錄, 有更加多点時間閲讀。真心多謝你們的寶貴意見!

要跳船真的要趁早，小朋友越細越容易適應。剛去完ESF induction day，看到的小朋友（將會八月入學year 1)都是操流利(native)英語的（雖然家長有說廣東話的）。

我大仔讀咗呢半年，佢進步咗好多好多，能夠讀到好多字，之前佢好多字都唔識的。唉。。唔關學校事，事實係我知我仔問題，佢好懶，只顧玩，討厭讀書，之前讀local school叫佢讀題目，好似叫佢去死咁，又喊又盛。好煩。所以我轉IS，希望play and learn, 等佢開心學習，容易入腦。讀書都係為求知識，不是求分數。我宗旨😁
