Will anyone apply? what would you think? They open a kinder but emphasis it is not through train to ...
I will not apply, mainly because the campus is not optimal and no guarantee of admission to the isf academy. it will be very hard to find a k3 spot by then. tuition is quite expensive and not sure if it's really worth the money.
if she stays in the current kindergarten, she still gets a decent chance of getting into a good school that I like. but if she moves to the isf, we are basically limiting our choice to the isf only and its just too risky to do.
If ISF is your first priority, I think it's a good choice, there must be some sort of informal priority. But if your target is other IS, ISF may not be providing the optimal language environment ? Actually no one knows, it's brand new anyway. But the school fees are highest among most IS kinder, I wonder if it is value for money.

I am very interested but it's not guaranteed to p1 and the location is not nice.
So would you apply? My worry is similar. The school keeps saying the 2 years would be good foundation for progressing to ISF but then it is not through train, nor have they decided whether there would be a priority for primary school.
I don't think many would apply. I didn't. Certianly far less than the number applying for the foundation year. Its not through train and no one has idea what % will go through to primary.
For people doing ok in an acceptable kindergarten, they may not take the risk, in particular given ISF is reputed to rejected quite a percentage of siblings application.
