For waiting letter (i.e., no interview date), Does anyone know the reply deadline?

I have not yet received the letter but will likely be waiting. I am afraid that the letter is lost and the deadline is lapsed. The admission teacher is on leave recently.

I think your chance is very small cos there are 2xx candidates to attend the interview for 150 seats.

Actually, there is 2 type of interview letters which stated that interview with garanteer seat and interview with waiting list. So the number of interviewers will be more than the actual seats. If your letter is fell into interview with reserved list, even you passed the interview, you still have to wait for the vacancy. It depends on how lucky you are on the waiting list and how many people withdraw their offer or fail in the interview. But if you don't have any interview letter for a reserve list, the chance to get an offer is very low.

When we were on waitlist, some experience parents told us that as long as you have interview, the chance of getting a seat will be high but you need to wait. It was because they don't offer the 200+ interview by random. It was based on their prior years exp. We waited and waited and thought that we did not have any chance by Mar. But we got the call in June. Actually, I think after Mar, the list goes up very quick as some people will just decline the offer cause they already paid deposit for other school.
