Hk has no freedom if speech? If you don't wanna discuss, you don't hv to post, why stop others from posting?
A little girl's life is lost. You can revise procedure but you cannot revive a life. Schools are entrusted for the safety of children. You can't just come out and say, procedure needs to be revised,,, oops.

Life is so precious. We are talking about losing a life here. It's not right to ask every body to shut up and just wait for the investigation. We also expressed a lot opinion and support to the victims of tge Lamma Island incident and the Philippines hostage incident and made the outcome different.
We should lead by example. Show our logic, be kind to others, cherish lives and execise our freedom of speech and the eorld would be a better place.
Oh i just read this news

I am not saying this is a bad school. HOWEVER, I am deeply shocked by the answers given by the principlal in the press con.
The serous crime team is investigating and anyone who gives wrong account of the truth may commit a crime. 真希望快些水落石出呀!
We are NOT saying that it's a bad school or we have a discussion about this particular incident per se (i.e. whether there was an alleged delay in calling police or ambulance). I hope parents of the school can understand.
For argument's sake:
Even though the guideline or protocol is proved to be out-dated, there are bound to be some who still think this is a good school and we do respect variation in opionion.
For your reference, there were many people taking the drug "thalidomide" in the 60's thinking that it was a great medicine. Later about 5000 infants were born with malformation of limbs in Germany, many of them died and the rest is history.
I hope we can have the courage and wisdom to learn from history.
We are NOT saying that it is a bad school after all. We are just having a discussion about the alleged delay in calling police and ambulance based on the information available and exercising our freedom of speech. I think even one day the school protocol or guideline is proven to be out-dated, there are still bound to be many people who still think the school is a good one. We respect that as a variation in people's opinion in a civilized country.
For your reference, there were many people taking a medicine called "thalidomide" in the 60's beieving that t was a great medicine. Later 5000 infants were born with malformation of the limbs due to adverse effects of thalidomide. Many of the infants died finally and the rest is history.
I really hope that we can have the courage and wisdom to learn from our history.
what is scariest is that most people accept this is an unlucky accident. no one seems to mind the negligence , the breach in duty of care.
I don't want hong kong to be like under developed countries, where death is so common. life goes on. no one needs to be accountable.
