Congratulation to your son to enter this school. My son will apply this school in Sept this year, would like to seek your advice as to

1. do the kid need to have special talent, like strong in sports, academic....

2. do the school screen on background, like parent and also which kindergarten they will come from....

3. do your son have a lot of award to attach

4. who will do the interview, the principal or the teacher and whether it is individual or group interview

appreciate if you can show us the light to the success.

我仔今年9月都會o係呢度讀小一. 真係好喇!!! 大家保持聯絡吧!!

我而家只係每日同仔仔讀半個鐘英文故事書. 因為我仔而家幼稚園既英文唔係特別勁, 我只係驚佢第時適應唔到咋...

My son will apply for P1 in this year? Would you mind to clarify with me the following queries?

1. What are the differences between St. Paul (Co-ed) and St Paul (Boy) in terms of their teaching approach, level of difficulties in admission, parents' background?

2. What are the interview process, interview contents for the above schools?

兩間完全唔同既學校黎架.  唯一相同係兩間都o係中西區同埋係直資.

2. What are the interview process, interview contents for the above schools?

St. Paul Boys' : 一對一面試, 校長一個人做哂interview.  applicant坐o係校長室既sofa, 校長室既門開大, 外面放左2張chairs比家長.  全程interview都比家長睇哂.  面試問題都係一般warm up問題, 不過校長會張圖比小朋友, 問一d關於圖既野(我估係考觀察力, 專注力同表達力), 有d小朋友亦會被要求看圖講故事.

St. Paul Co-edu:  第一round係小朋友interview, 入去校長室前會group埋一齊玩games/colouring... (不過校長講過d 唔洗小朋友識玩o個d games), 跟住小朋友一個人入校長室5mins, 中途睇唔到校長點問小朋友(不過我仔講返出黎, 都係d生活問題同睇下小朋友同父母關係, 順便都會chok 下小朋友係咪"老作"/背答案).  有幸入第二round, 就只會in. 家長.
