Sharing re Rightmind Kindergarten? - 國際學校

I happen to notice that Rightmind kindergarten continuously have 12-15 students going to ISF every year, and around 2-3 to CIS.  The placement to local primary schools however is not exceptional.

Personally, I have not heard of this kindergarten before, maybe cos I live on the Kowloon side and partly cos I’m still new to the international schools community.  I also wonder if Rightmind could be classified as a stepping stone for international schools.

Could anyone share more about this kindy?  Would you view it as an ‘international’ kindy, and how good is it?

From the placement of different years, you can see that the proportion of students entering local schools or private schools like isf is much higher than that of international schools. It's not really a perfect stepping stone to international schools.
The reason why quite a number of students entering ISF may be attributed to the bilingual language policy which is like that of ISF and the rmkg also held school visits to ISF for his students before.

I am a Rmkg parent. Rmkg offers good language development in mandarin and eng as the minimum since it also offers Spanish and French lessons. Kids are generally outgoing and able to respond quickly. They generally have abilities for primary one entrance exams. Whether entering into IS is a personal choice but I do see Rmkg kids should be competent enough to sit for IS exams.

how old is your kid now? does your kid join their full day class? did your kid join their playgroup ~ kinderU before?

My kid is in k1 now. We are in half day session but Rmkg offers lots of extra curricular activities. It's more flexible to join half day plus eca. We were in Kinderu before and were impressed by teachers' experiences with kids... They were able to maintain kids' attention spams

If u go and see Rmkg kids, u see all of them (as far as I m aware of) are polite, able to speak eng and mandarin after completing pn (even my kid can do so during pn despite we did no training on her), parents group are decent, teachers are dedicated in general... Sch fee is not top band, just slightly above the average eng kinder... With the great exposure offer by Rmkg, I don't see why I should not pick this one... Certainly I would say kids match Rmkg better if they tend to be outgoing as most of them are very outgoing.., even parents need to believe in kids can do a lot by themselves. I don't know if its fast or not. My kid can wear her shoes and take off her top even in 2 something. She knows to invite friends to her home to play. I see its Rmkg nurture this...

Thanks for your info. May I know when did your kid start at KinderU? did u join their 2 hrs RM program from KinderU? Also, I would like to kown what sorts of extra-activities does the school offer for pn/k1 students? thanks

are those extra activities be held after school or on weekend only? how much is it? how about its affiliated music school called kindermusic? all music class be held there?

Some activities are held on weekdays and some weekends. Those activities cost around $200-$300 per hour.
