Personally, I like the PG in TT more. But if u target the kg in Vic, then it's better for u to apply their pg!

TT and Vic share the same teaching curriculum. My child has been to both playgroups. I personally think TT is better because its teachers are more passionate (either they fake it or not) and the school is better run. If you are aiming for IS, you should pick TT. I think Vic is a over rated organization now. I guess many people want to get in, they lose the need to strive better. Hope this helps. ^^

My kid had attended many different playgroups before and I personally think Victoria playgroup is the best among them. It was the most organized, contented, and all rounded one. Teachers and helpers were experienced, a 2 hour class was balanced between English and Cantonese. Activities included story time, sensory time, music time, tea time (provided by school), playground time, small muscle training, etc. The most important thing is that the free-play period was not as long as other playgroups which may have taken up 1/4 of the entire class time!

I heard from other friends that TT was very "Hea" and almost 1/3 of the time during the playgroup is free-play without teachers' presence (don't know if it is true) but they all quitted TT after getting accepted by Vic. Sorry if this is not the case because I'm telling third person's opinions only

how about arts plus bb playgroup? is there a bigger chance to get into Vic PN? My son is gonna try both TT and arts plus bb playgroup at the same time, im still struggling ..

Arts Plus in TST is newly opened this August so I cannot comment on it, but for the one in Tin Hau i heard it's just so-so. Their playgroup is starting this week, there may have some parents joining it can share their thoughts with you later. As I know they share the same director as Victoria's but are not directly related. For admitting Vic PN, there must be some advantages even if people tell you there is none! You can choose to have interview in arts plus or in Vic campus which is already an example of "advantage".

WIll VIC they take small BB? As i want my son to take the local stream but my hubby wants him to take the int path way more :S and im just so worried if i give up vic playgroup he wont be able to get into local kg anymore as hes a small bb. Its just like a gamble. Either TT or VIC...

This year HH, MK, HMT and HG campuses take small babies who were born on or before Oct 31... In my opinion, if you are not targeting international schools there is no need to waste money on going TT playgroup. You can use the time and money for other playgroups which are linked with PNs say Zenith, RHS, Funful or simply let your baby to be a big B next year for more choices of famous PNs, e.g. KM, SC, LH, etc.

Have you heard of 蔡繼有？is it a good local primary sch? As I heard quite a number of students fm TT will got an offer from that sch.. p.s my boy was born in November :S

Share thoughts of my friends. Three of them quitted TT after joining a semester, as too 流。they all like Vic ( artplus) so much now. For me, I don't send my gal to any of them.
