吾好意思
我又有關於係英國讀law嘅問題想問下大家
吾知除左LSE, Oxbridge, Bristol, Birmingham, Durham, Glasgow, KCL, Nottingham, UCL, Edinburgh, Bath, York之外，大家會推薦邊5間law school呢？
Warwick會吾會係首選？大家又點睇Queen Mary？仲有無其他推介？

（希望女兒翻香港讀PCLL）

如果你選擇warwick 和queen mary, 大部分人可能選擇warwick 因為排名高
但是其實queen mary 法律係比較好，因為他們個course 始終是university of london 的

另外，sheffield 也是不錯的選擇

通常我們讀LLB （LAW undergrad)要再讀一年的 law college, 大部分都會選擇 BBP 或者college of law，這個你都看看吧

Don't choose those offering Scots law courses which are not compatible with PCLL in Hong Kong.

If I rank them it'll be:
Manchester - don't choose Manchester Metropolitan, must be University of Manchetser
Newcastle- good University again, one of those "older university"
Exeter + southampton - similar ranking and Level, then it depends if you want a city feel or country feel
Kent - is not a very good university but new. Great location (Canterbury) but not as good as Manchester

How about Warwick, Lancaster, Exeter? If the child aim at after the graduate apply PCL in HK? Which university has a better chance?

I would choose Warwick for PCL. PCL is very difficult course and even my friend from Cambridge said is hard.
There's a course from King's College which collaborate with HKU, to offer a 5 year LLB course but it will both be recognise in Hong Kong and UK. I think that is the best course (for both side) if you can get in.

I would go for well-known, Russell Group and Aldwych Group university to apply going back to Hong Kong. even the "ranking"is not that good, I would still prefer University that is established (and not those post-1992) Universities

Admission to Warwick normally means that the applicant is good enough to be admitted by CUHK as well. If PCLL in Hong Kong is the target, one should consider CUHK instead!

My son got an offer from Warwick for three elective subjects in DSE at Grade 5, M1 or M2 can be one of these 3 subjects. However, for CU, the entry requirement of Law at least 5-6 subjects with 5*

I see ... I was in fact referring to IB results in my last post. It seems that DSE results are more highly regarded in UK than in HK then.

I would definitely put Queen Mary as my first choice.
I wouldn't consider aberdeen as it is a scottish university that runs a slightly different system to the English law.
then it'll be Lancaster then strathclyde.
