My daughter is accepted by CAIS and my major concern is how much acceptance Alberta curriculum is in UK / European universities. I personally would like my daughter to stay in the same community to develop sense of belonging (no changing school) and at the same time also don't want her to find herself being in limited choice when making decision for university.
Searched some UK universities' prospectus and can't find them mention about accepting Alberta qualification making me a bit worry...
I'm choosing between 2 schools, the other school offers IB which I'm familiar with. I'm struggling with CAIS because CAIS has very good environment with moral value + so much closer to where i live....
Have you checked that school any information for their graduates university placement in the past years? It might give you some hints....and which is the other IB school you are also applying?
of course I have and the list of UK university is shorter than those in Canada and US. But shorter doesn't mean anything because many other factors count.
Yes, thus u have your answer already. Also it is still a long way to go that CAIS might also adapt to IB curriculum ten years later if it is the trend....GSIS authorize IB as well last month.
