Ok, but not too much to learn, if I can find a better school, no matter is LS or IS, I will try and see what is the best school they got offer finally.

As far as I know, for KCIS, ESF, SIS etc. i.e. kids are in P1 at the age of 5 can still apply for Lucky Draw. I heard that quite a number of KCIS kids got local offers (told by my friend whose girl is now studying there.) Called EDB and they said the "Primary" in their document is referring to "Local Primary stream", the IS P1 (at the age of 5) are preparatory classes (at their point of view) so can still opt for Lucky Draw - as of this year. I am quite eager to have a confirmation too as viewing the recent competition, I am also planning to switch to IS to have a peace of mind :)

Thanks for the clarification! I thought I'll be losing out in the mainstream schools by opting to IS. So at least I can have the option o get out if IS turns out to be different fom what I expect.
