I am pretty certain not all kids got 2nd interview. Cos a couple of different people told me that, and they are all quite close to the school. There were close to 2000 applicants last year and close to 2800 this year. The school told some of the parents with siblings applying that there was a massive chaos in the arrangement as they couldn't deal with the traffic. A lot of kids with siblings need to go back for 2nd time assessment because some of the teachers who helped screen the kids has never done it before and there were some errors in the process.

We should be really proud of the kids and happy going to the second interview. Cos the first round assessment this year is not easy and harder than before I heard ah!

The kids will be asked questions. And the VC would observe him or her when the parents are being assessed. By yes 80-90% of the kid's job is done.

The second interview you mentioned is with kids only (2nd chance for some kids) or both parents and kids (stage 2: parent-child interview)? Sorry about my confusion.

You mean mine? It's a parent child interview. I'm not sibling nor debenture holder so I don't hv second round.

Just finished the interview. Seems that the competition is really keen this yr and the interviewer hinted that small kids like my could try again next yr. does it mean we hv failed?
