My kid is in L2 now. For last year N1, the total miscellaneous fee for whole year was $3,923 only (including the first term $2,168 and second term $1,755). There is no other miscellaneous fee.
I don't know why there is always rumor telling that the miscellaneous fee is very expensive. It is just around $4,000 per year ($400 per month) and you can reuse some of the stuffs, like crayon, apron, colour pencil.
For violin class and tennis class, they will be included in the regular lessons in L2 and U3. That means for music lesson, they will learn violin and for PE lesson, they will learn tennis. Honestly, I would not expect they can learn much from these lessons but at least they can try different activities at school.
