I agree 2 hours is too short. The playgroup we attended is also 2 hours, just nice for 14 months old and above, leave alone 2 years old. But I do not mind the 3 hours PM option.

agree ...and they have the school bus arrangement for PM class as well

Latifolia, so are you still applying? Since it's your initial first choice, no harm trying, and you can always decide later. My impression of the school is quite positive after attending the interview, in terms of teachers and school environment. The emphasis on acedemic performance is not our cup of tea though, but it's a decent backup. And if we are lucky to get an offer, I will seriously consider it.
Hello Minirat, as you said so..that is no harm to try...but I'm still struggling the PM class for my child. My child must take a rest (sleeping) in the afternoon for 2-3 hours. It is a big problems for me too....
Kids can adapt well, and there is still around 9 months to go before PN starts. Most important is the quality of school. You can always re-adjust his routine slowly. I will start doing the same once we confirm which school and which session.
If you have other better AM offer after York, you can always change your mind later. At this moment, dont let any opportunity slip by.
