My daughter in sc k2. She joined sc k2 from another kinder's k1. She didn't know how to speak Cantonese in full sentence before she joined sc. I am very impressed after studying in sc for only 3 mths she can speak fluent cantonese (thanks for the teacher and also thanks for myself teaching her bringing her back to standard). Her English std still very good. I am so happy she is good in English and also good in writing and reading Chinese( although her Chinese accent is very English)
Whether the kid is good in English or Cantonese also depends on the language environment at home, not only at school |
