我相信你個仔好clever，所有天才都是"不一般"的。
2nd round 一時的表現，不會消滅幼稚園校長的推薦信。
他幼稚園校長最少認識你個仔一年以上，容易了解他，推薦信很重要。
Portfolio有冇用?
除非學校(eg St Stephen's College Preparatory School)話非要不可，我相信冇乜用。
一封好的幼稚園校長的推薦信，好過包裝精緻的Portfolio。

我地亦唔好低估學校的智慧，以他們揀人的經驗，要揀他們要的人，並非認真認真難。

I think the portfolio helps the interviews to know the kids more quickly. It should be clear and concise. Too much 包裝 is not necessary.

家教會主席個女理應有一封好靚的校長信?
It depends on details. There is so much we don't know about your friend to draw any meaningful conclusion.

Perhaps we should ask this question: Where a school specifically says it doesn't want a portfolio (e.g. DBSPD), what makes you think that the school will attach any meaningful weight in reading any unwanted portfolio attached to an application?

The importance of kindergarten principal's recommendation letter depends on kindergarten's reputation and track records of the principal's recommendation. If the kindergarten's principal has some connections with the primary school that you are applying, that would be a better benefit. Otherwise, the principal may write hundreds of recommendation letters for all his/her students. Then it is of no use.
