1st interview just on the child. Interview with parents on the second one if you get through.

Thanks. Are they asking the child in English or mandarin? Is it very difficult to get into 2nd interview?

For 1st interview, it will be both English and Mandarin

Grade 1... I guess less than 30, maybe max 30...
Going for grade 1 interview is much harder: the kid probably needs very strong Eng + Mandarin spoken skills.

What the admission office said was students entering G1 has to have equivalent level as other students coming from Foundation Year. So basically be proficient in Hanyu Pinyin and phonics.
