Under the present edn policy, it doesnot matter at all.
Rent a roomin Kln City is more practical.
I knew 3 parents get into MCS this way.

And the school knew this method very well, that's why the very first project is "My living district" when she is in P1.

I think SC or KV with residence in Kowloon City is better.....my daughter was from KV with residence in Kowloon City to MCS when P.1.....
