To be fair, my daughter got G1 and G2 A.( we prepared it at home just with the information of the website and the video on website, no sylbs.or no exercise)
After coming out from Sheung Wan, I didn't even ask her one question because the school told us don't ask questions about the exam for preparing the P.1 interview, I was really curious how good the GESE. But she said she likes it and enjoy it very much and ask for the third times, it means G3.I said I won't appy for her, it was too expensive and for the P.1, few certs and cups enough.
Then one day, she told me about the content of the exam. She said the examinar asked her whether she has pet. Of course this question we well prepared. Then she asked back the examinar. so...do you have pets? He said I have a cat. My girl asked back, what colour of it. .....blah...blah... then suddenly the examinar talked about his mother has a hen. My daughter asked whether it is white or red. I suprised she asked this question, in my mind, white or brown hen, haha.... However, I think about of Oxford Reading Tree there is a Phonic book. The red hen...sth like that.
The examinar didn't ask about time, luckily, otherwise, I won't sure how she will answer a quarter to three or a quarter pass three...
The examinar did ask her age, but my girl will answer more than that...she was 4 years old. When is her birthday? we prepared both parents birthdays information and even grandma(the one sometimes who takes care of her)
What I wanted to say, to be fair, you really didn't know how good or bad when they were inside. Unless they told you everything. To be relaxed. It is just an exam. You may appy it second or third times, the certificates won't show how many times you did.
Give yourself a break.
More important is preparing the P.1 face to face interview.
