we didn't pay the reg. fee as we get offer from SC, Chinese/Eng pm session. I am struggle from staying in York or not as my son is happy everyday, the teachers are nice, calls me 4 times telling me he is naughty, haha. sorry for parents of schoolmates. Bigger schools, not sure about the teachers, some said some are not nice. But I love their arrrangement of putting all extracurricular activities so that they can stay in schools and take school bus afterwards. I like their cambrdige eng test and maths training and my son, slow in speech, can learn fast and improve a lot after he started his school for a mth. though my son said nothing but only he was punished because he and his schoolmates run during rest time, teacher tells me he knows all Chinese characters and numbers in textbooks (but we only teach him English letters at home, of course talk in Eng, PHT and Cantonese but never let him read chinese words), and he knows all school songs. Even I tried to ask him if it is true but he still said nothing even I pointed to the books. So I think the teachers have their techque to teach them. See, a boy who can only say papa mama, car car, and all types of transports now can speak "May I go back to classroom pls?" when he was there the 2nd month.
For SC, some moms said it is good but no one can tell my why it is good, only saying Eng is surely good, creative and innovative thinking (yes, I also worry if it is too pushy in York), some said we have to train them up for Eng/PHT/Maths and do some courses if you want to find good P1. And need to find good schools (don;t know where to find and whcih ones are good), match the time (but we are in p.m. session, really hard to arrange time, and he can't take morning courses as most schools are in CWB whcih is far from our home and some KLN, Tong, but he may be too tired at school, just like what he does now, very tired and hungry after school but can't force him to sleep b4 school no matter how much I tried different time schedule). And looking up different courses, match time schedules, surely not convenient and hurry to school compared with York. And the courses fee in York is not high as they provide such arrangement to put all in one/
Any mummy can give me some suggestions? If you were me, will you stay at York or SC? |
