第一，你睇你個小朋友每年什麼時候番香港，大部分都會只是聖誕節，同復活節番，如果系禁，就跟國泰買一年一套的機票，因為會比較抵，同有保障。學校放假好多人番，所以呢種套票要一早訂好日子，改期會比較難，但是我覺得好就是因為國泰知道你小朋友用學生機票，有事（上次倫敦落雪3天停飛）他們有record，可以照顧他們。同國泰行李allowance 比較好，見你學生過少少都有時ok，你知小朋友唔知帶什麼番學，預多d 好

如果打算half term返HK , 即一年三次系買bundle ticket 抵，你可以夾下價, 我book着BA, 都相差幾千元

係咪應該係 term break，通常 half term 住 guardian 到，以前我係一年前預訂的，果時巳經好難，而家更甚，good luck.

my child may go to UK this summer (for university) but not yet confirmed as have to wait for result of HKDSE, Is it possible for me to buy the套票 in July for Sept/Oct fright? Thanks

i think 套票 in July is ok, but check with airline. coz they tend to increase the price around summer (fuel surcharge)
I know someone just buy airtickets whenever they need to cannot change date at all, is either cancel it or else

Tkx. If we buy 套票, do we need to specify all dates in day one? Or just book when needed? Is it easy to book ?

Yes, you need to specify each inbound and outbound date but you may change it free of charge if you buy the student bundle ticket. If your son tend to return HK at Christmas, it is better to book now. Christmas is the peak period and the seats are tense. You need to confirm and pay before August and by that time you have the HKDSE announcement.

Thanks. For the student bundle ticket, is it bought from travel agents or directly from the flight company? What flight companies provide such tickets and what are the prices?

Both can do(except Vrigin, book through agent only). Personally I book through agent as they can find the better dates from different airlines and I can reserve from 2 airlines at the same time too. Cathay Pacific, British Airway, Virgin Atlantic and Emirate(transit at Dubai) all provide student bundle ticket. Price is various according to the flying date. Last year I book one set from Virgin outbound in Sept whilst inbound in Dec, it takes nearly $14000. If you don't involve in the Christmas time, it should be cheaper.

今年學校的聖誕假期回港(12月中)的直航機位已經很滿. 最便宜也要接近hkd15000, 超出預算, 只好選擇轉機還有hkd10000以下的機位, 但都要盡快訂了, 今年334開始, 留學生較以往多了.
據了解 , 學生套票, 有好處亦有壞處. 行李重量可以 x 2, 但票價亦較貴; 雖然可以改期, 但如果同級( 經濟位也有不同價錢) 的機位滿座了, 要補$$ . 如果套票裏有用不着的 , 可以退票, 但要附千多元的手續費. 另外, 套票的機位也要等航空公司出了航班時間表( 一般約330日, 視乎不同航空公司) 才可以確定. ( 難道要鬥快搶位? 請問有冇家長可以分享一下這方面的經驗? )
還有, air newzealand 也有學生票, 可分開買的, 但從香港出發的時間只有在早上, 航班選擇較少.
