In the old days, they went to the usual ones such as ESF, CIS, CDNIS, GSIS.... etc. But I am not sure about the current situation especially after the set up of the SIS secondary school. Perhaps other parents can share.
Me again. may I seek for your advice. As I know students ( ie primary and secondary) need to have regualr test & exam, I just wondering would the teaching method in SIS be " one way " same as " traditional local school " ? Then lack of the intractive " 2 way " learning environment ? This query extend to anther questions ....Will the teacher give encouragement to all students just like what we expect in IS ? Or will they concentrate on a few top students like the traditional local school in the old days ( like in my generation )?

How old of a child does sis start admitting? And what language does the interview conduct in? How should I prepare my child now? I'm overwhelmed by the HK educational system.
PY1 start 4-5 years old. You can choose either eng or PTH for interview. But I think you better prepare kid for both eng & PTH , while as far as I know some kids got both english and PTH teacher approached during the interview.
