Agree, do not totally believe on those "professionals", sometimes has to beleive yourself as a mother, as you know the kid best.
Some private assessment is not creditable, and the clinicians are still very young and inexperienced, they may over-diagnose or under-diagnose. Find an asessment at Child assessment centre, they have tons of experiences in assessment and working with kids with special development conditions.
with good timely training kids will catch up gradually, don't worry!
