It looks like an advertisement to me. Instead of doing it in school, they do it in a mall. What so special? Am I missing something?

First of all, I think SIS is a very good school but I don't understand why the exhibition is held at a mall and not in the school? Relax, IS do have a lot of chances for children to share their good work and you will appreciate much being an IS parent

The exhibition gives children a chance to showcase their art to a wider audience and take pride in their work. OP is merely expressing her appreciation that the school is providing such a platform for the kids.

It's probably no big deal to many onlookers, but I'm sure it's meaningful to the students and their family.
