Re: 2000年9月出世後的千禧仔女, 會否讀多一年k2?
I personal think that it depends on your child ability. If your child is a boy, it is much better for him to do one more year. as in general, the overall development of a boy is 6 month behind a girl, so the small boy can't really complete with the girl, we can see the result of secondary school allocation, most girl can get into band 1 school, but boys...
Actaully, it is all depends our parent how to educate our child, in general, a child doesnot understand the impact what is repeat, so if u change your kid to a higher standard kiddy such as St. Theresa, the you child won't feel it is boring, as the standard of this kind of school is higher than some easy K3.
If we are talking about central allocation, I def sure the cahnace of get in good primary school in 2007 is much easier than 2006, as accordance to C&ED statistic, it had 54000 children in Y2K, but only 46000 in 2001, so the number of kids in 2001 is 8000 less than Y2k and 8000 is about 15% of total birhrate in Y2k.
Besides, we def sure kids are very happy in kindergarten, and they will have lot of pressure when they start P1, so if you want your child to have a happy childhood, u can let them to stay in kindy for one more year, otherwise, u can let them to start P1 in 2006. |
