st paul convent la中學ok學朮ok,不過st paul catholic 學費平D所以通常長大后適應力強D

聖保祿系龍頭是St. Paul's Convent,你能夠負擔12年學費,想課程更加有彈性和多元化,將來到外國留學等等,揀Convent絕對正確,如果不想有學費負擔,有細妹,仍能接受傳统教學,St. Paul's Primary Catholic這條升學線也是相當不錯,小六有過佰人(包括部份Band2)升上直屬中學,比較Marymount,小六只有60-70%(Band1 only)能夠升上直屬中學,Catholic對師妹相對較有人情味,喜歡精英制又會揀Marymount,各適其所.

十分多謝大家的寶貴意見.
其實我有個大仔現在讀緊私校，有點兒覺得讀私校的學生太過重物質及喜歡比較，而當年個仔在統一派位時竟派到第7志願的學校。個女在自行收生階段又只得5分，所以沒有同她報學校。本來想個女直升原校小學(st paul's con.)，所以都忘記了在一月時去遞表參加大抽獎，但家人堅持一定要幫個女玩大抽獎，在2月時，我去了教育局提出申請參加大抽獎，幸好有關部門批准我申請。因我的校網並沒有太多好學校，所以，當時在甲部只填一間，乙部又填一間，而難得個女真的可以跨區抽中間津校，所以個心好似有些想讀津校！

我不敢說"讀私校的學生"太過重物質及喜歡比較,我只會說香港有些家長和學生太過重物質及喜歡比較,我覺得Catholic的校風是灣仔校網最好之一,選校還要配合子女的特質,這兩間的特色分別很大,那間較適合令千金你自己會清楚.

I observed that many students from those elite schools are sitting Benz to home and using iphone. They have already skipped many steps and enjoy an above average modern life.

Yes, there is no doubt that children who come from rich and well educated families have already skipped many steps and enjoy an average modern life. But I do know some of them have been sent to non-elite schools as well. The author of "The high price of materialism" says a need is something a person either desires or wants that is essential to their survival, growth and functioning. If these psychological needs are unsatisfied, materialism is often the result. What makes some people materialistic? 1.Young adults from divorced families frequently become materialistic. 2.If the child was raised in a poor family, they are likely to become materialistic. 3.Children attending schools with poor discipline and frequent fights, vandalizing by other students, and general defiance of authority were more likely to become materialistic than children attending well organized and highly disciplined schools. 4.People from poor nations are more materialistic than those from rich nations. 5.People who watch a lot of TV are more materialistic than those who don't....

So I believe that materialistic students are likely coming from all kinds of schools, not only from elite or private schools.

Wow!!
I have family members studied in St Paul Convent, the school has good facilties and high requirement on Kids moral development. School fee is a consideration, but if family can afford, St Paul Convent is a good choice.

If u consider at the acedemic level, Must be ST paul convent. But if consider about 校風, students from St paul catholic is more humble in general.
If i were u, i would pick ST paul convent
