Hi,

As I am new and not sure if SPC-PS is now a traditional school or active based teaching school. So, if for P1 portfolio, should it be more focus on academic side like course, certification or competions result OR ECA like music, swimming, painting etc. Pls advise

As for last year, only 5 pages (can be double-sided) were accepted for the portfoilo.  No photo can be inserted...just copies of extra-curricular activities & certificates.  Also, the principal doesn't encourage kids joining too many EAC which might affect their balance of life.

I think there's no rigid requirement.  For me, I just showed to the principal that my son has a balance of EAC with satisfactory academic background.

I think what the school loves those boys who are academically capable, but yet all rounded. They want those who are talented in many fields, like music and sports.
Characters of St. Paul's Boys :

- confident
- mostly talented and smart - most be good at at least one ECA
- 'sharp' - Most boys are really presentable, even facing the strangers

Do St Paul boys need the kids to do project-based work?
How about things such as presentations or "show and tell" type of work?
