GH 啦, OUR LADY'S是我母校我都放棄左, GH 係小中學學術上都比 OUR LADY'S 強得多

Do you think gd hope is worth for $3000 education fee?Because somebody told me the kinder syllabus is so simple!I worry that my girl cannot go to the gh primary school and have a weak competition with other girls!Could you tell me more information?thz a lot!

讀GH學費真係非常重要考慮，幼兒園只是3000多，但還有小學及中學，費用是倍增地上升，而且要交足十多年，這樣的話就要想清楚你的工作收入是否穩定地支持未來十多年支出了

My gal is same as you, offers from both OLK and GHK. Tho we have already paid reservation fee to OLK, we are going to renounce it and going to GHK instead.

We opt for GHK cos we love its campus and the acdemic standard is generally considered higher than that in OLK (no offense). I have a couple of neighbours whose daughters are studying in GH Primary and I observe that they are polite and behaving very well.

If you think $ is one of your concerns then you have to seriously think about it cos it is going to affect your budget for at least the coming 3 years, not to mention the primary and secondary school fees that follow.

The parent on #3 reminded me to inform OLK for not taking its place so that those on waiting could be informed earlier (hopefully)... will do so after paying reservation fee to GHK on Jan 7.

OLC - local bachelor's degree (not included asso degree) 87.27% +oversea 5.47%

GH - local university (not specified degree course or asso degree course)39% + others(not specified oversea study or employment) 34.8%

I can't see their different up to 兩班...

估唔到GH o甘少人入讀local U，其他可能升overseas。由此可見讀GH的人都有一定經濟能力，由幼稚園俾大量$$$直到overseas升學。

Both schools are good school....

I am an old girl from OLC…
OLC is value for money and nothing you can compliant… good academic result but weak in physical and musical performance….
Example: I studied in OLC from K1 – F3. My academic result outrange those girls from MaryXXXX and True LXXXX etc when I continued my study in Australia, so..... (BTW, I am not a top student in OLC)

Good reports to show the difference. I've read the GH report, I am wondering why GH student entering to local university rate suddenly dropped, while "higher diploma" and "other" (everybody thinks the student study overseas, but the report isn't mentioned, some of them might stopped studying and go for employment) suddenly jet up! If I am the one who proof read this report, I should spot this point and ask the staff to double check all the data.

If this is a fact, GH should have some study in this area to maintain the reputation........

Your assumption may be correct but even all specified as "others" in GH's report are studied oversea the total percentage of oversea + local U is 73.8%
and OLC oversea + local U is 92.74%.

Honestly no offence to those who studies in GH, I just want to provide a fair comparision between two schools with data and evidence proof instead of internet rumors.

我只係路過姐, 覺得好奇怪, OLC幾時變得咁叻, 我讀書個年佢只你一間band 2中學.

睇真d佢個report, 跟本是騙人的, 邊有八十幾個%入U率呀! 下面d字寫明只有42.27%係聯招入U, 其餘40%是local full time post secondary (我估係副學士) 及vocational Training course. 呢40%跟本唔可以算入U.

yes, you are right.

They shouldn't use Local universities bachelar's degree course in the table.

so it should be OLC offered from local U rate is 42.27% and GH offered from local U rate is 39%
right?

When you ask which one is better, which particular aspects are you referring to?

I would agree GH's academic result will definitely be better compare to Our Lady's. Naturally this has to be the fact with their differences on teaching approach and school philosophy. The curriculum itself is more advance (I mean primary and secondary) in GH and accompany with their aggressiveness on extra-curricular activities, it will certainly be consider a good school.

For the case of Our Lady's, the school philosophy itself is not putting academic as the top priority, as it is not the key focus.

Certainly, the costs of study is definitely something to take note. For GH, it is paying the schools fees for the 15 years to come. For Our Lady's, it would be 6 years of private primary only and I believe their fees are still consider low as consistent with traditional private Catholic schools.
