dear parents,

In case you are considering AIS for your children, my advise to you is to look for others...i have a very bad experience with this school. The new elementary principal is rude and have bad behaviour in front of kids and parents. They do not worked for educating the kids, but proud about how many applications they have to turn down, how many different nationality studying in the school.

Their website mentioned the Kindergarten has only 30 students, combining the k1 and k2, with 3 teachers, however the actual class size is 34 with 2 teachers. It is worst than the local public schools.

AIS has a public school set up which charging the international school fee...

There is no improvement at all. In fact I think is worse after they change their principal.
I sincerely hope Hong Kong EDB will have some policy to monitor international school in HKG.

I am so regret to send my son to AIS. Glad that we are out now.
I thought America school system would encourage confident and innovation...But it is completely not align with what i expect.

本來想同仔仔轉 ais, 但現在真要考慮, 請問你小兒讀了多久才發現問題呢?

My child was there for only 1.5 months. I realised their bad quality just a week in the school. The class teachers could not get hold of the kids and she is not able to handle the children. The behaviour of the middile school students are quite shocking.
I actually wrote to EDB to raise the concerns I had with the school.

only 1.5 months. Glad that I change it fast.
I raise the quality concerns to EDB. Hope they could look into it.

May I know whether your child was in kindergarten or elementary school? Did you manage to change your child to another international school? If so, how did you do that as vacancies in international schools are so competitive?

But they are still expanding and rennovating a new campus next to the current one.

I guess there is a niche market for American system IS at Kowloon side , which does not have religious background.

while everybody is jumping into the IB curriculum, no one seems really care about the American system IS now.
