14th Oct should be the deadline for sending back the reply slip

I sent back the reply slip on 14th and registered today

My friend's son got offer and the registion date is before 14th. I believe some people may receive letter tomorrow or next week.

好想入WKF...未收到信的媽咪唔駛灰心....我相信我哋仲有機會的.....下星期便知曉....

雖然等待係好辛苦....等咗咁長時間...但係唔爭在等多幾日.....我哋要努力加油！:loveliness:

I am disappointed too. Since I heard the news that WKF have been sent out the letter to the applicants, I checked my mail box everyday. Until now, I still can't rec'd any letter. I also going to mad. I wish i can get the acceptance letter next week. God bless me.

Keep waiting

I am in the same situation - waiting for positive feedback from schools. WKF is my target as I have a an elder daughter and a younger son. Yet, I am still waiting. Don't know how many people accepted their offers in the first place, given that there are only 150 places, I'm afraid that my daughter's chance is slim.

I think I have to get prepared for "knocking the door". Anyone had similar experience and had successfully secured a place after "knocking"? Would you mind sharing your experience with nervous mums? That will be greatly appreciated.

It is quite funny that every year when people are awaiting for the results. Someone will start saying something like this. Thank you very much for your information.

I have chosen this school for my child because his cousin is in the same school, Grade 6 last year, and Grade 7 this year. He had a very happy childhood in the primary school life and is enjoying as much as he was in primary. He told us that teachers have a much higher expectation on them when they are in secondary. The discipline in the school is good, the senior grades are friendly, and they have to work much much harder to study. He has convinced me that the school is just the type I want. Happy in primary, and hardworking in secondary.

As for the example mentioned in another thread, the only thing that come to my mind is, no matter which school you are from, 林護 is a very tough school, and you have to work really hard. Student from WKF can enter that school, which is a band 1 school, means that WKF is not bad at all.

I really have no idea about how true it is about the secondary section. If my child has the offer, I surely will consider it seriously as I like the school. Most parents who apply for this school want their children to study happily and willing to learn. I think this is crucial to successful learning.

我覺得間間學校even係brand 1或好出名的名校....間間都有好同唔好的學生......

住在我隔壁的妹妹係WKF讀Grade 7...我有問過佢佢係WKF讀書的情況.....佢話俾我聽佢真係讀得好開心....好enjoy返學.....我覺得妹妹對人包括長輩都有禮貎that's why我楝WKF....雖然還未收到好消息....但係我會繼續等....希望快d收到消息...

心儀WKF的媽咪.....相信一定有佢選擇WKF的理由......

其實之前個媽咪的POST講有個WKF小六考 "林護"入左, 我就肯定呢間小學很合適我個小朋友, 因為林護係很多年前已係100%入大學, 而中一INTERVIEW 個人及GROUP INTERVIEW都要, 所以只係讀書勁係唔得, 佢一定要表達說話的能力都要高, 有自信, 係WKF的小學唔係單向式教授, 係可以一起參與及討論, 而且唔係則重學業, 不過我未讀, 只係有朋友的仔女讀緊, 至於WKF中學要2012-2013年先有第一批係自己的學生升上去, 所以依家的WKF中學生係來自四方八面的小學, 所以很難比較, 可能要我個仔讀完小學, 先有第一批自己學生完成12年教育, 所以太長遠......參考唔到啦!

我雖然未收到offer letter....但係我真係好eager我小朋友入WKF....因為小學ok....而中學我都覺得ok.....一條龍..入咗小學...如果小朋友成續唔係咁差應該中學會收番機會會大.....到時唔駛煩...

在open day,小學校長講過....佢好希望入讀小學的學生會係這裏讀到中學......

其實諗真d....好的小學、好的中學一條龍真係選擇不多....真係非常好的、非常出名的學校...有好多好多人爭.....

compare各方面....我覺得WKF真係唔差....相信有好多咪媽都會對學校有一定要求....我都係一個有要求的媽咪.....我好信相我自己揀得的一定唔差....

我好希望快d收到offer letter....各位想入WKF的媽咪我哋要繼續加油.....

其實選校是適唔適合小朋友及家庭的問題, 因為要計算學費, 路程遠近, 學習教學方式適唔適合自己的小朋友........., 所以要諗唔少野, 其實我都喜歡 "優材", 因為用芬蘭的教學法, 但小一至小三係mongkok, 但小四至小六係tseung kwan o, 所以路程對我唔ok, 我都無考 lu.

其實間間學校都有人鍾意亦會有人唔鍾意，多人放棄唔代表唔適合你個小朋友，好多事應該睇自己，而唔係人哋話作後備自己亦要咁。
