Re: DGJS Interview Result

vanilla,

Nope, the girl isn't studying in Vicxxxx.

My friend is an executive from a large corp.  what I mean similiar background is that they go to same school, they join those few courses (drama, tom lee and drawing, etc) and (according to my friend) they are trained to be those kids wanted by those schools, so for them, those interviews are no different to what they do in class  or school.  Of course, those kids are smart, talent and out-going.

Sorry, I don't know the other parent, so cannot tell what's their occupation.  I guess the schools pick the kid based on who they are rather than who their parent is, of course, there's always exception.  Hope these answer your questions.

I have been following this thread with interest.  Your friend's daughter should be at the school at North Point, on the hill, HK side.

Re: DGJS Interview Result

Dear All,

Interesting discussions.
To me, education is life long.
Kids are our future.  So, finding the right school are 'essential'

Two points -
1.   Let the peer gets together.

Let them develop at their 'natural/best' way.
Don't take it negatively : it's not prejudice! It's not injustice! - its natural!
What's the point of  'unnecessarily' mixing cream with 'milk' ?   Will not do either good!
Milk and cream are both essential 'on their own'.

2.    Let there still be still competition.
'Healthy competition is good.'     Compare the people from the '70-'80's with those from 2000's.

Open to discussion.
