My kid has attended both Picasso and My Art Room. Both approach are different.
From my impression -
Picasso will use different materials to inspire the kids on color matching, lines control and basic drawing techniques. But I feel most kids drawings are very alike. Good perspective is you can easily compare your kids' work with others, down side is creativity.
My Art Room starts from simple and basic, using crayon > water color > etc.. Class size are smaller than Picasso (4 vs 8). I found my kid has better understanding on size, line, shape and ratio. Picture itself are not fancy and with less sharp colour when compare with Picasso. But I found the drawings variety is larger even all kids are drawing the same theme.
