Dear Monita,
Sorry for not getting back but until now.
My daughter joined Concord College summer class during the summer holiday in P.5. It was already 4 years ago when she was just 10/11. We enrolled them (my daugther together with 2 girl classmates) to the school directly ourselves. We talked to the school for enrollment, payment, arrangement of having their representatives to meet the kids at Heaththrow Airport etc. The 3 girls traveled themselves from HK to London but we have subscribed the accompany service (UM?) by the airline. That means the airhostress take care of them after we hand out them in HK airport and pass them to the school representatives. Of course, we give them the mobile phone so that they can confirm where they are. It is OK.
For the activities in the school camp, they are very similar as mentioned. The food, classes and accomondations were good as told by the girls. Of course, remember that they are just primary students at that time, they wouldn't be that demanding.
But one thing it is true, there were not too many HK students. My daugther told me that they met students really from around the world.
I remember the cost of the camp is OK but turn out the total is higher than EF. I suspect that we book the airticket quite late or at least not as early as EF. It was a 3-week camp and the total spending (school fee + ticket) is arund $33,000.
By the way, after they were enrolled, we found that local agents can also handle.
Hope it help. |
