Still feel angry, stop bad mouthing my sons' school! Let me share some real examples/facts:
--The kids at the school are lovely and smart, and teachers are not evils as mentioned in the comments above: there was a school trip held in mid November ( to visit a berry farm in HK, also there was an outdoors pizza making fun event), parents including myself were invited to go along with kids, we had a good time, and when we were in the coach/bus, to past the time, the local guide 导游 raised many questions (智力,地理等)to the school kids, and the kids are very alive to 抢答, the guide once talked to me that, the students impressed him as they can answer the questions so quickly and accurately (I was in the P4 bus), and the guide served many schools before... Also, when the guide asked who want to sing a song, many kids raised their hands, they are so adorable and I learned from them.
--升中:my older son is P6, facing 升中this year, I knew that one student who was of similar banding ranking of (or a bit higher than) my son was adimitted into 何明華會督銀禧中學 (Band 1B or C), as for the foreign students of this school (mostly Indian kids), many of them got into 香港管理專業協會李國寶中學 (I believe it is Band 1 C or Band 2A); I hope I can share more but don't have much source of info, any parents of last year who can share with me? thanks!
--some downsides of the school: The damage of goodwill by rumors has affected the ability of the school of admitting top students and hiring more teachers. I don't know the complexity behind the 政治风波earlier last year, but I can feel that the new school principal is engaged in running the school with her love for kids/education. However due to the rumors, the school still needs time to win back the confidence from parents.
These comments (good sides and problematic aspects) are about fair, hope this helps to give you a better view of the school.
