Echo from your info, I have a friend who was old boy of SPCC. He told me that when SPCC planned to switch to DSS, most old boys and girls against that. The reason is simple, they don't want SPCC only pick good students from well off families.
So the school coming up a very generious remission scheme to ensure $$ is not an issue for good kids to study in SPCC. I double check the calculator and the % of students enjoy the remission. His remark is correct.
The tuition fee of SPCC is much higher than other DSS schools like DBS, because the difference is used to provide ECA for all students.
