But not so this year.
Even many girls scored 20 were not able to go to St. Stephen Girl this year, not to mention 15.
And I think the situation would only get worst for the next couple of years with such high birth rates we witnessed since 2006.
Clarifying my stand: I do not think you should go to a religion simply because you want to go to certain school. But, if indeed you have a religion to begin with, that should also be your consideration in choosing school nets.
And by the way, there are also many very good DSS and privately-run schools in HK Island, such as St. Paul Co-ed, Scared Heart (Private Section), St. Clare, St. Stephen College Preparatory School, HKUGA, (and some might say even True Light, Kau Yan) etc., I do think one should apply for those, too, to improve the odds for your kids somewhat and not rely solely on the "lucky draw" allocations.
