Hello 大家好:
想跟你們分享一吓,自己的想法和尋求你的見解,可否替我解困。
首先我想介紹一吓自己的成長遭遇,我是在本地教育成長,很大個才懂看鍾和分左右,好不容易才中五畢業,成績當然不理想,投教護士,做學護期間,很多好難的學科,最後我取得非常好的成績畢業成為護士了,一做就十幾年了。
學護一職是自己選,無人迫的情況下去做,我取得好成績。
所以我想我的小孩入讀國際學校,但最近跟個朋友傾談時,她說:你無的而你想你孩子有,一點都不奇,但未必是一件好事,不如讓他在本地讀小一試吓先,如果覺得不好才轉去國際,因為一入國際,就好難出番來。
我囝囝是個活動兒,又沒有鬼仔那麼動,但比本地的活潑得很,不喜歡被人迫,你迫他,他不會做的。
不知大家有什麼意見呢?

If I were you I wouldn't care too much about what other people say. Just go ahead and do what you think is best for your son. If financially you can afford to carry him through the IS path I don't think you even have to worry about changing him back to the local system.

You are the mother of your son, I am sure you know him better than anyone else. Sounds like your son may not be accepted by those local school teachers. Just like my son, he asks a lot of questions and a bit active. That's why I decided to send him to int'l school right from the beginning.
You better make up your mind.

I don't think it is a logical and practical suggestion. (I don't know whether your friend is an IS parent sharing her own experience, or simply by her "common-sense")
I will not say IS must be better than local.
In fact, 99% children studying in local primary will not /cannot go to IS for thousands reasons.
