打解決唔到問題喎! 唔通你打完佢下次 assessment 成績就會突飛猛進咩? 我覺得只會傷感情兼嚇怕o左小朋友.

認真去 find out 有乜問題, 係小朋友根本唔明唔識, 抑或係一時失手, 有好多 careless mistakes 呀? 搵到問題再對症下藥. 樂觀 d 睇, 今次起步唔理想, 下次可以有好大進步空間呀!

打,未免太過衝動吧,試想想,有時錯不在小朋友身上啊,我女兒第一次測驗,我只懂跟她温習課本/worksheets,完全沒有意識點樣幫助她温書,中文數學當然沒有問題啦,但係英文成績郤強差人意.........往後的日子,我們買下很多補充練習給她做做做....到學期尾英文的成績已上72/80......到今時今日我仍然覺得當初錯在自己,最後只係將本來預算好的聖誕旅行押後,好等聖誕節假期能全力温習.......

Seems a lot of students can not get  good mark in this Assessment, according to my daughter's memory, she has wrongly answered less than 10 questions and lost 26 marks. But I didnt blamed her, just ask her to work hard as one of her good friend also get a low mark ( but she is very very good before ), so I believed this is not only because of you daughter.

My daughter is in 1C, may I sharing some experience with you.  She's OK for all subjects so far beside the 3rd Chinese listening Quiz.  We didn't have any turtor.  I also need other parents' help like "ccbrown and..." for some recommendation books.

Sometimes, we miss something little and we knew.  I thought P.1 is very important for them to guide the way they study.

I really want to share my knowledge with you.

Questions:
1. Which subject?

Hi YUYU-MAMA,

Are you talking about the summerative assessment? Since school retained the papers so we will not know the mistakes our daughters have made. If the difficulity of exam paper is the cause for not promising result than at least we could understand it. But now it makes me upset for not knowing anything.

Oh I see!  I thought you got some problems for your daughter's learning.
I'm glad to hear your daughter back to the high score.

My daughter's got 35 marks (Not passed) - This is the lowest of 2 generations of my family    on the 3rd Chinese listening.  Then we sat down and found out what's happening even I knew from other parents' that the recording wasn't very good during Quiz.
And helped by ccbrown about the books.  Hopefully, she got better result in the examination.

By the way, refer to my questions today.  Do you know GH will return the
examination papers as most of the parents especially from P.1 want to know what's the mistakes they got?

Hi yinyin0609,

For average mark upto 9x, I think your daughter's past performance is quite outstanding.   But can you share with us what caused the setback on her exam results?  Is it normal for students obtain lower marks on higher grade?

Sorry, I couldn't recommend so much as yinyin0609 and ccbrown's suggestion are very good.

I just reminded my daughter mark points and read more Chinese story book that she wasn't very keen on them.

If you don't try, you didn't know how's your daughter can be.

I did it for the familiar English Reading, then to Chinese with my daughter together.  So far, work it quite good.

Of course, buy some like ccbrown's recommended and yinyin0609's book.  It's help a lot.  More practise is more important.
